About 100km south of Thessaloniki, three promontories extend from the Halkidiki peninsula into the Aegean Sea. On one of these promontories, Kassandra, which we call the "first finger" of Halkidiki, lies Pefkohori. Pefkohori is surrounded by green countryside, pine forests and numerous olive groves.
Due to the mild climate, the beautiful landscapes and the long beaches, Pefkochori established itself as a holiday resort in the early 1970s.
